High class escort Geneva for the Fête de l'Escalade, 11–13 December: elegant companions, lakeside palace hotels and how booking works.
Every December Geneva remembers the night it was not taken. A high class escort Geneva clients book for the Fête de l’Escalade gets to know a side of the city most business travellers never see: torchlit processions in the old town, costumes from the seventeenth century, mulled wine in the squares and chocolate cauldrons smashed at the table. In 2026 the festival takes place from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December. Geneva Tourism publishes the detailed timetable shortly before the weekend.
This guide explains what the Escalade is, why it is a lovely weekend to spend with a companion, which palace hotels and restaurants we recommend, and how booking works at One Kind.
01What the Escalade Is
In the night of 11 to 12 December 1602, troops of the Duke of Savoy tried to climb the city walls of Geneva with ladders. The attack failed, and the city has celebrated ever since. The best-known story is that of Mère Royaume, who is said to have poured a cauldron of hot soup over the attackers.
Today the old town fills with people in historic costume, fifes and drums, horses and torches. The festival weekend traditionally ends on the Sunday evening with the grand historical procession of the Compagnie de 1602 through the old town and a bonfire in front of the cathedral of Saint-Pierre. In the weeks around it, the shops sell the famous marmites, chocolate cauldrons filled with marzipan vegetables, which the youngest and the oldest at the table break together.
02Why Clients Book a Companion for the Escalade Weekend
Geneva is a city of diplomats, private banks, trading houses and international organisations, and many of our clients know it only from meetings and hotel lobbies. The Escalade is the weekend when the city relaxes. It is warm-hearted, a little old-fashioned and very local, and it is much more fun to discover with someone who enjoys it with you.
Our ladies are at ease in both worlds: a business dinner on the Quai du Mont-Blanc on Friday, a walk through the old town in a winter coat on Saturday, a late brunch by the lake on Sunday. They speak several languages and are discreet in a city where discretion is a way of life.

05Practical Tips for the Weekend
The old town is steep and cobbled, and in December it is cold, so good shoes and a warm coat matter more than an evening dress for the procession; there is time to change before dinner. The old town gets busy on Sunday evening, when the main procession passes; a table booked for after the bonfire is easier to get than one at eight.
Geneva Airport (GVA) is around 15 minutes from the lakefront, and the main station Cornavin is a short walk from the Quai du Mont-Blanc. We plan your companion’s arrival so that she has time to settle in before the evening.
06How Booking Works at One Kind
Choose your companion on our escorts page and read our Geneva city guide for more hotels and ideas. Then send us your dates, your hotel and a short introduction, who you are and how you imagine the weekend, through the booking page.
Companions based in Switzerland can be booked in Geneva from four hours, ladies travelling from elsewhere in Europe from six hours. Your date is confirmed once we have received the security deposit (at least 40%). Until then we cannot confirm the date to the lady, and she cannot reserve her time for you. Once it has arrived, we confirm your booking to her, she keeps the time exclusively for you and any travel is booked. Our rates are the same in every city, and the travel expenses are shown in each profile. For a relaxed, natural weekend together, our girlfriend experience guide shows which ladies suit it best.
